Learn more about users and its access management

A Digibee HIP user can operate the Platform and its functionalities based on the access control structure to which it is linked, that is, the groups to which the user is assigned to.

How to create a user

Follow the next steps to create a user:

  1. Sign in to Digibee Platform;

  2. Click the “Administration” icon;

  3. Enter the "Users" menu option;

  4. Click the + CREATE button in the upper right corner;

  5. Fill in the user information;

  6. Then click SAVE.

IMPORTANT: It is worth remembering that users will only have access to the Platform resources when they are assigned to an Access Control Group.

How to edit a user

Follow the next steps to edit a user:

  1. Click the “Administration” icon;

  2. Enter the "Users" menu option;

  3. Search for the user in the search bar;

  4. Click the "Edit User" icon;

  5. Next, we will see an interface containing the user's associated groups and their permissions;

  6. On this interface, you can only edit the groups associated with the user. Editing name, last name, and timezone can only be done by the user;

  7. Next, click the SAVE button.

How to archive a user

Follow the next steps to archive a user:

  1. Sign in to Digibee Platform;

  2. Click the “Administration” icon;

  3. Enter the "Users" menu option;

  4. Search for the user in the search bar;

  5. Click the “Archive" icon;

  6. A confirmation dialog will appear, click the CONFIRM button.

  1. How can I associate users and roles?

    The Platform does not allow associating users and roles directly. In order to associate a user to a role, it is necessary to create a group that associates users and roles. To learn more about groups, read the article “Access Control Groups

  2. What can I do with archived users?

  • View archived users;

  • View an archived user's permissions;

  • Unarchive them;
