By creating an API key with Elate, you can automate workflows, integrate Elate with other tools, and programmatically access your organization's strategy data.
Each API key is tied to your user account and carries the same permissions as that user, making it important to generate, store, and manage API keys securely.
This article walks through how to generate an API key in Elate so you can begin building integrations and automating your workflows.
First, navigate to your "Company Management" and locate the "API Keys" tab.
From there, select "Create API Key." Name your API key, set an expiration date, and hit "Save". Please note that you must select an expiration date for your API key to expire within 180 days.
Your existing API Keys will appear in the API Key table. An API Key's expiration date can be modified, or its access can be revoked as well.
