Connecting Elate to Claude via MCP

Elate’s MCP connector allows you to securely connect your Elate account to Claude, giving Claude access to the Elate data and tools available to you.

Before you begin

You’ll need access to both Elate and Claude. You’ll authenticate with your Elate account during the final step of the setup process.

Additionally, you'll need to ensure the MCP connection is turned on for your account. Contact your Account Manager or reach out to us at customers@goelate.com to discuss getting this added to your account.

Step 1: Open Claude Settings

In Claude, open the menu associated with your account and select Settings.

Step 2: Navigate to Connectors

From the Settings menu, select Connectors.

Then select Add in the upper-right corner of the Connectors page.

Step 3: Add Elate as a custom connector

Select the option to add a custom connector by clicking "Add" in the top right corner.

Enter the following information:

Name: Elate
MCP URL: https://mcp.goelate.com/mcp

Select Continue.

Step 4: Confirm authentication settings

Claude should automatically detect the appropriate authentication settings for Elate.

Leave the default options selected:

  • Authentication: Sign in now

  • OAuth client: Use Claude’s published identity

No additional configuration is required.

Select Add to continue.

Step 5: Connect your Elate account

Elate will now appear in your Claude connectors.

Open the Elate connector and select Connect.

You’ll be redirected to Elate to authenticate your account and authorize the connection. Follow the prompts on the Elate authorization screen to complete the process.

Once authorization is complete, you’ll be returned to Claude and Elate should show as connected.

You’re all set

Claude can now use the Elate MCP connector to interact with the Elate information and functionality your account has permission to access.

Having trouble connecting? First, confirm that the MCP URL is entered exactly as https://mcp.goelate.com/mcp and that you selected Sign in now and Use Claude’s published identity during setup.
