Typically, the planning feature is used for executive offsites or for a team planning meeting. It helps teams have a loose framework to prioritize and finalize objectives.
Planning Next Quarter or Year
To get started with your planning process, navigate to the team you would like to plan for.
Click the "Planning" tab.
Use the planning page to add potential objectives in for future quarters.
Statuses during the planning phase are defined as follows:
Proposed Objectives
An objective in the idea phase that a team member thinks should be a priority for next quarter or year.
Objectives in Review
An objective that is a priority, but needs to have more details finalized, such as key results or who is responsible.
Finalized Objectives
An objective that is prioritized and all detail has been added. It is ready to be started next quarter.
When an objective is marked in the status "Finalized Objectives," it will display for that
time period on the "Objectives" tab.
