What's New:

Linking Key Results from an Objective

You asked, we built it! After releasing the ability to link Key Results from a scorecard, several of you reached out asking for the ability to link key results between Objectives. We are excited to share that we have officially released this feature!

The Linking feature was designed to eliminate duplicative work for your team. Being able to link a Key Result from Objectives gives you the ability to display the same Key Result on multiple objectives, ensuring your team is working from the same numbers.

This feature is very simple to use. Once the Key Result is created on the Objective, select the “Link Metric” button at the top. Next, select where the metric will be coming from, and what key result you want to be linked. And you are done! You have now ensured your team is aligned on the key result, and that they are not doing duplicative, manual work.

View Subteams

For those of you that manage a department or multiple teams in Elate, you are going to like this feature! We heard your feedback that you wanted an easier way to see objectives for all of your teams in one spot. That is why we built the “View Subteams” feature.

The “View Subteams'' feature allows you to see all objectives for your subteams with the click of a button. This gives Team Owners more visibility on objectives for teams that they are responsible for. This is a great way to look at performance and updates that have been given across the team.

To leverage this feature, click into a team that has subteams. On the team page, click the “View Subteam Objectives” button. The objectives owned by that team and the subteams will show in the Plan Execution table, along with their status and performance.

Prioritize Matrix

And last, but certainly not least, we just released a new feature within Plan Builder called the “Prioritize Matrix”. This feature allows your team to arrange the proposed objectives on a Matrix that outlines the “Value” and “Effort” associated with them.

Arranging objectives by value and effort will help your team better understand what is most important. Additionally, it will work with the existing Plan Builder functionality, where your team can align Objectives to your company's vision and themes.,

Prioritize will help your team think thoughtfully and strategically about the amount of work they are taking on, and what they should focus on.

For more information on how to add Plan Builder or the Prioritize Matrix to Elate, reach out to your customer success representative or send us a note at hello@goelate.com.

We look forward to you getting to try out these updates! As you are using these features, please send us any user feedback or ideas that would make your experience better.
