Need a better way to see how your objectives, themes, and related objectives are all connected? Maybe you're more of a visual learner and prefer to visualize how your strategic plan flows in action.

Good news- you're in luck! Elate's Hierarchy functionality helps you visualize just how your objectives and themes are all connected.

To use Hierarchy, navigate to your Company page on the left-hand side of your screen.

Next to "Company" select "Hierarchy".

Your initial Hierarchy screen will look something like this, highlighting your company's themes. From this view, you can easily see how many objectives are connected to each theme. Be sure to also take note of the date range on the right-hand side and adjust the time-frame to suit your needs.

To see what objectives are connected to a theme, simply click on a theme's tile.

To view Child Objectives that are connected to a Parent Objective, click on the Parent Objective to see the connected Child Objective.

To view Related Objectives and/or Tactics from the Hierarchy view, simply click the eye icon in the upper right-hand corner and select what you would like to show.

Related objectives will appear beneath the selected Objective.

Tactics will also beneath the corresponding Objective.

Lastly, to get a broader view of your plan and especially if you have several , select the "play" button in the upper right-hand corner to see everything. Select the "x" in the upper right-hand corner to get back to the normal view within Elate.
