Eligibility criteria for joining GoGet

To get you going ASAP, make sure you have:

  • A valid credit/debit card or *PayPal *account

  • Your driving license at hand

  • Your selfie-face ready for a couple of snaps with your license

To open a GoGet account you need to:

  • Be over 18 years old

  • Have no major violations recorded against your driving record in the past 3 years

  • +1 year independent driving experience

*If you're under 18 years old or have a learner's license, you can still join GoGet as an extra driver on an existing account.

If you hold an overseas licence, you will need to make sure your driver's licence allows you to drive in Australia and provide an English translation.

We may require additional proof of identification which will be requested in an email.

If you have lost your licence or had a suspension for an offence within the last 3 years, you may not be eligible to join GoGet.
