GoJoe is more than a step challenge. While daily steps earn points, GoJoe goes a step further (pun intended) by also recognising 60+ different activity types — from walking and running to cycling, swimming, gym workouts, yoga, wheelchair-based activities, and more.
It’s all about rewarding movement in a way that’s fair and inclusive. Each activity type — including steps — is weighted, so more intense or intentional workouts (like a run or gym session) are rewarded accordingly, while everyday movement still counts too.
What counts:
✅ Daily steps (yes, even walking to the kettle!)
✅ Purposeful walks, runs, and workouts
✅ Activities from the 60+ list in the app
✅ Adaptive movement and wheelchair-based activities
How it works:
You’ll earn points for daily steps and for tracked activities — but we make sure there’s no double counting. For example, if you track a walk, the steps taken during that walk won’t be counted again separately.
In short: all movement matters, and GoJoe gives credit where credit’s due — whatever your pace, place or preference.
