What's new with Challenge Standings?

The new leaderboard update brings more flexibility to how you view and compete in challenges, including solo participation, segment leaderboards, and improved team management tools.

What are Segment Leaderboards?

Segment Leaderboards split the standings by selected onboarding fields such as office, department, region, or country. The exact values are chosen by your org admin so may vary, but will always be relevant to you and your organisation. As such, instead of competing against the whole company, you're matched up with the colleagues that matter most. More relevant, more competitive, more fun.

How do I switch between Group and Solo standings?

On the Standings tab of any challenge, toggle between Groups (team rankings) and Solo (individual rankings) at the top of the screen. Your own position is shown in both views.

What stats can I see in my Solo standings?

Your Solo view shows your total activities, total points, and total distance. Plus you can see how you rank overall, within each of the chosen onboarding field segments and within each activity type. Further dimensions such as Age or Gender are available if enabled by your org admin.

Can I join a challenge without a team?

Yes. Solo participation is now available. Admins can configure challenges as team-only, solo-only, or both, so more people can take part, regardless of whether they have a team to join.

What is the minimum team size setting?

Admins can now set a minimum team size for a challenge. This keeps leaderboards meaningful and properly competitive. No more single-person teams skewing the rankings.

What is Team Admin?

Team captains can now remove members from their team themselves, without needing to go through a GoJoe admin. Quick, easy, and in the right hands.

I can't see a segment I'd expect, what should I do?

Segments are configured by your org admin. If a department or region is missing, check with your internal GoJoe admin first. If it looks like a technical issue, get in touch with our support team and we'll take a look.
