Updated over 3 weeks ago

Overview

To comply with financial regulations, we are required to verify the identity of individuals and assess their risk before we allow trading on the platform. Therefore, we allow customers restricted access to the platform initially, but customers are then required to apply for a trading account.

How long does it take?

We have used the latest fintech to give customers the best experience we can when doing a trading application. We know that scanning identity documents and providing details can be time consuming so we have made it as streamlined and automated as possible. Typically it takes 2-3 minutes to apply for an account. It can take longer if the details provided aren't fit for purpose.

My application is 'In Review', what does this mean?

This means that you successfully provided us with the information needed and one of our customer team is reviewing your application. Once reviewed and a decision is made, you will be informed of the decision and any next steps.

I need to provide more information, why?

All customers are treated equally and asked for the documents and details we need. In some cases, we do require additional information and/or documentation to support us in identifying you and assessing suitability. In these cases, we may ask for additional information. Once provided, the customer team will be able to make a final review and decision.

My application was 'Declined', what does this mean?

In some instances, we are not able to offer you a trading account. We do not give reasons on why this is the case due to regulated processes however, examples can include: not being of age, not being deemed suitable and not providing authentic and accurate documentation.
