Q: I would like to customize the message sent to the member/guest when receiving a special order. Can I do that?
A: While you've always had the ability to customize the automated notifications templates (for email and text messages), you've probably had the need to personalize specific notification instances. For example, you may want to wish the member a happy birthday in the notification. Or you may want to let them know that the item is in their locker.

Now, you can easily customize automated notification instances "on the fly" (before sending them), which allows you to provide a personalized touch to the message (as shown below).
Depending on the step you are in, before you place the order or confirm the order, visit the notification tab and click "Edit this specific message" (as shown below). You will be able to customize both the text and email notifications.
Note: If you customize a text or email notification and save it, the personalized text or email will not be reflected in the saved message if additional changes are made to that step in the order process.
