Every automated text message has a default message that can be changed and customized if necessary. In this article, we will discuss accessing and customizing automated text messages.
Accessing and Editing Automated Text Messages:
To access and edit automated text messages, follow these instructions:
Go to Communication > Text Messages > Automated Text Messages.
Select to view the automated text message for a feature (i.e., Special Order, Demo Club, etc).
Click the "Edit" button for the automated text message you wish to edit.
Toggle the "Customize Text Message" switch (as shown below).
After making the changes, click "Refresh Preview" to preview the text message.
Click "Save".
The automated text message will then be saved and applied to future notifications.
Customizing Text Messages:
Edit the text message where necessary by changing the text in the body of the message. You can also add many available fields that are listed on the right (as shown below).
Including an Order Confirmation PDF Link to Members when an Order has Been Placed:
After placing a special order, an automated text message can be sent to the member/guest, notifying them that the order has been place. The title of this automated text is "Order has Been Placed." When sending this text message, you can optionally include a link to an Order Confirmation PDF (as shown below).
to include this PDF link, add the "Document Link" data field (as shown below) to the message.
