Member profiles can help your members get the most out of their membership and help your club understand your member's preferences, fitting information, activities, and more. Taking your member profile to new heights can mean a lot of positive change for your club and members.
Member Profiles provides an enhanced layout with customer information organized in tabs and blocks that you can build on. Each Member Profile is organized with the following:
Profile Picture: Upload your member's profile image.
General: Name, contact information, gender, birthday, etc.
Activity: Includes a log of the member's activity across all Golf Shop features (e.g., special orders, demo clubs, club repair, etc.).
Notification Settings: Access and control the member's notification settings.
Merchandise Preferences: A customizable tab that allows you to contain pertinent merchandising information (as shown below).
Other Custom Tabs: Create and design your own custom tabs with relevant and useful member information. To name a few:
In the Bag
Fitting Specs
Dropship Address
Dining Preferences
You can access these profiles from the Member Roster, while members can access their own profiles through Member Portals. You can also use our Survey feature to collect member information easily and automatically populate Member Profiles.
The member settings include:
Categories: Product categories are used to organize member profiles into tabs. You will want to create categories that best fit your club's needs. When a tab is selected in the member profile, you will see the relevant custom fields associated with the category. For more details on product categories, Click Here.
Custom Fields: Custom fields are member attributes related to categories. For example, you may want to capture member merchandise preferences for shoes, not only will you need a fields for preferred shoe brand, you will also want to capture shoe size and width. Since these fields don’t share the same details (and can be related to specific merchandise fields for completing special orders), you will want to create custom fields for each data point specific to each category. For more information on custom fields, Click Here.
Profile Setup: Profile setup allows you to configure the global version of the member profile. When configuring the global version of the member profile, you can edit the layout by rearranging the tabs (categories), adding/removing tabs, and organizing or adding/removing fields (custom fields) within tabs. For more information on custom forms, Click Here.
Several categories, relevant custom fields, and a profile setup have already been established to ensure you can start using Golf Genius Golf Shop immediately. These defaults can be modified as needed, or you can create your own to meet your facility’s needs.
