Staff scheduling is a critical aspect of every golf operation. Budgeting, building, and communicating weekly schedules for your inside and outside operations can be a time-consuming affair. It can also be frustrating dealing with time-off requests, shift swaps, and other scheduling challenges.
If you are looking for a staff scheduling solution specifically for golf operations, we suggest utilizing our Staff Scheduling feature (available at no extra cost to your subscription).
This feature (Powered by SchedulePop for Clubs) allows you to:
Simplify the staff scheduling process and accurately track labor expenses versus budget
Publish and communicate staff schedules via text, email, iCal, and mobile app with one click
Easily coordinate and approve time-off requests, availability, and shift-swap requests
Improve team communication with built-in tools
Note: When using our Staff Scheduling feature, you can create up to two zones (e.g., outside ops, inside ops) within your golf operation department.
Activating the Staff Scheduling Feature:
To start the feature activation process, follow these instructions:
Click Staff > Staff Scheduling (as shown below).
βSelect the Contact Person (individual to be contacted regarding the activation of this feature)
Enter the contact phone number of the contact person (as shown below).
Click "Submit".
You will be presented with the following instructions (as shown below):
Download The Staff Scheduling Spreadsheet
Compile your staff information into the spreadsheet. For an instructional video, Click Here.
Email the spreadsheet to golfshopclientsuccess@schedulepop.com.
Once the SchedulePop team has received the spreadsheet, they will reach out to set up an initial training session.
Accessing the Staff Scheduling Feature:
Once the feature is activated, Golf Shop managers can click on Staff > Staff Scheduling to be directed to a new tab with the Staff Scheduling feature.
If the Golf Shop manager has scheduling permissions, they will have full administrative access (e.g., build schedules, add staff, etc.) in the new tab. If the Golf Shop manager does not have administrative scheduling permissions, they will only have staff member access (view published schedules, request time off, etc.) to the Staff Scheduling feature in the new tab.
Golf Shop Managers with administrative access can also access the Staff Scheduling feature on their mobile device by downloading the SchedulePop for Managers mobile app and logging in with their SchedulePop credentials. Click on the links below to download the app.
All other staff members can access the Staff Scheduling feature on their mobile device by downloading the SchedulePop for Staff mobile app and logging in with their SchedulePop credentials. Click on the links below to download the app.
