Q: We have a lot of surveys building up in our dashboard but we don't want to delete them. Can we archive surveys?
A: Yes, surveys can be archived for later retrieval or cloning. You can find some details about archiving and accessing archived surveys below.
Archiving Surveys:
To archive a survey, follow these directions:
Go to Communication > Surveys.
For the survey you wish to archive, click the "Actions" dropdown.
Select Archive (as shown below) and the survey will be sent to archived surveys.
Accessing Archived Surveys:
Archived surveys can be found by going to Communication > Surveys (as shown below).
In the Archived Survey table, you will see the following columns:
Actions: Action you can take on the archived survey. More details are below.
Name: Title given to the survey when creating it.
When clicking on the "Actions" dropdown for archived surveys (as shown below), you will have the following options:
Preview: This allows you to preview the survey from your members' perspectives.
Clone: Create a new Survey by cloning an existing one. This is convenient when you have surveys that you conduct annually.
Restore: Makes the survey active again and moves it to the top table.
Delete: Removes the survey. Note: Do this with caution, as this action is permanent, and the survey cannot be recovered.
