Your new website is built and waiting in the editor. This guide walks you through taking it live on your own domain. It takes about 15 minutes, and your current site stays online until the new one takes over.

Step 1 — Review your site in the editor
Go to editor.gondola.travel and log in. Forgot your password? Use "Reset password" on the login page.
Click through your pages and check photos, text, prices, and contact details. Fix anything right in the editor, or email support@gondola.travel and we'll fix it for you.
When you've made changes, click the orange Publish button (top right) so they're included in what goes live.
Step 2 — Click "Take Your Site Live"
At the top of the editor, click Take Your Site Live. A "Go live" panel opens on the left. Enter your domain (for example yourtours.com, without www) and the panel shows you the exact DNS records to set up. It also checks your domain and lists any leftover records that would get in the way.
Nothing changes on your live site yet. This step tells our system to start watching for your DNS update.
Step 3 — Set up two DNS records
Log in to the company that manages your domain (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace, Cloudflare, Wix, and so on), open the DNS settings for your domain, and set it up with exactly these two records:

Keep only these two. If your domain already has other A or CNAME records for @ or www (from a previous website builder or host), delete them. Leftover or duplicate records are the most common reason a site doesn't go live. The Go live panel tells you which ones to remove.
⚠️ Change nothing else. Don't touch MX records (that's your email), TXT records, or anything else in the list.
Where to find DNS settings at common registrars
GoDaddy — Domain portfolio → your domain → DNS
Namecheap — Domain List → Manage → Advanced DNS
Squarespace Domains (including former Google Domains) — Domains → your domain → DNS settings
Cloudflare — DNS → Records. Set the proxy status to "DNS only" for both records.
Wix — Domains → your domain → Advanced → Edit DNS
If you'd rather not do this yourself
Your registrar's support team does this all day and can make the change for you. Live chat is fastest. Copy and paste this message to them:

Hello! Please set up the DNS for my domain [your domain] with exactly two records: an A record for the root domain (@) pointing to 216.150.1.1, and a CNAME record for www pointing to [your domain]. Please delete any other A or CNAME records for @ and www. Please do not change any other records; leave MX, TXT, and everything else exactly as they are. Thank you!

We don't log in to registrar accounts on your behalf, so please don't send us your registrar password. Your registrar's support team or the steps above will get you there.
Step 4 — Check the configuration
Back in the editor, open the Go live panel and click Check Config. Once your DNS records are correct, our system connects your domain and issues the security certificate (https) automatically. DNS changes usually show up within 30 minutes, though some registrars take a few hours.
If it's been more than a few hours and Check Config still flags a problem, email support@gondola.travel with your domain and a screenshot of your DNS records, and we'll sort it out.
FAQ
Will changing DNS break my email?
No. Your email is controlled by MX records, and those aren't touched. As long as only the A and CNAME records for @ and www change, your email keeps working exactly as it does today.
Will my site be down during the switch?
Your current site keeps serving until the new one takes over. Any gap is typically minutes, and most visitors won't notice.
My domain is currently used by another website builder (Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy Website Builder). Anything special?
Those services add their own A or CNAME records for @ and www. Delete them and replace them with the two records above. Your old site on that service will stop showing on the domain once the change takes effect, which is the point. Cancel the old builder subscription only after your new site is live.
What happens to my SEO and Google rankings?
Your domain and content stay the same, so your rankings carry over. If any page addresses changed on the new site, we set up redirects from the old addresses so search engines follow along.

Repeat these steps for each site, and be careful to match each domain with its own editor account and DNS records.
How do I make changes after I'm live?
In the editor. Edit any page, then click Publish. Changes to tours, blogs, and categories go live on their own. Or email your material to support@gondola.travel and we'll add it for you.
