Connect Your Domain to Gondola

If you purchased your domain from a domain provider and you have their requirements, then you can connect your domain to Gondola manually.

Gondola Support can help you set your domain settings. Please contact us and share your domain provider login credentials. If you do not want us to access your domain provider, and you have trouble setting up your domain, then you must work with your domain provider.

Before you begin

To complete this procedure, you need to have the following information:

  1. Your login information for your third-party domain provider account

  2. Your domain provider’s requirements

  3. The Gondola IP address 161.35.113.156

Step 1: change your DNS records in your third-party domain provider account

  1. On your domain provider’s website, log in to your account.

  2. Find the DNS settings or domain management area.

  3. Change the following records:

    1. Point the A record to the Gondola IP address 161.35.113.156

      1. If necessary, change the Host name to the @ symbol.

    2. Point the A record of WWW. to the Gondola IP address 161.35.113.156

  4. Save your changes.

You can have only one A record associated with your primary domain. If your domain is already associated with an A record, point it to the Gondola IP address, then remove the old A record.

Step 2: connect your domain to Gondola

  1. Contact support@gondola.travel with confirmation that that above is complete and you are ready to take your domain live.

If you need help with pointing your domain to Gondola, then contact your third-party domain provider’s support team. You might need to give them the following information:

You want your A record to point to the Gondola IP address: 161.35.113.156
