How to Post a Blog

Posting blogs to your website helps improve your site's SEO. We always encourage Gondola users to post blogs to their sites from time to time to help improve website visibility. That's why we've made blog posting easy!

Steps on How to post a blog

  1. Log in to your Gondola account

  2. Go to Blogs

  3. Click on Create a Blog Post button

  4. Add a Blog Title

    How: Type in the blog title in the Title field.

  5. Add Blog Content

    How: Type or paste your content in the Content field.

    • You can format the texts by clicking the icons on the formatting field.

    • You may also insert images in between paragraphs to your blog by clicking the Insert Image icon.

      πŸ”” Note: If you'd like to add images to your blog, please have the image files saved on your device and use the Insert Image feature to upload the images. Please avoid copy-pasting images directly into the content field to make sure the images always display properly when the blog is live.

  6. Add Blog to Categories

    Adding your blog to a category will add product cards to the right hand side of your blog post, allowing readers to potentially book your tour.

    How: Go to the Categories field (right panel) and tick the checkboxes of the relevant Categories.

  7. Add Author and Tags

    The Author will be displayed on the blog post.

    How: On the right panel, add an Author and tags. (optional)

  8. Set Featured Image

    Adding Featured Image will definitely improve the appearance of your blogs. It appears on a few sections on your site - within the blog post, on the general blog page, and on the homepage. So make sure to add a featured image that's relevant and catchy.

    How: Go to the Featured Image field on the right panel and upload the chosen file by clicking the upload box or dragging the file directly into it. Images that have a wider dimension or in landscape typically work well across your website.

  9. Set the Visibility and Post Date

    Setting the visibility to Visible will get the blog live on your site and viewable to potential readers. If you wish to hide a blog post in the future, or perhaps you're in the process of creating a blog and would have to finish it some other time, you may temporarily set the blog visibility to Hidden.

    The Post Date will be visible on the blog post.

    How: On the right panel, go to the Visibility field and set the visibility and Post Date.

  10. Save Blog
