Uploading contacts in Goodkind is super simple and can be done at any time or while setting up a campaign.

Note💡: there are a few ways to import contacts into Goodkind, this article is covering importing with a file. If you're using an integration, the process may be different depending on the software that you are using.

Steps to Import

Click Import Audience on the contact page or in the campaign wizard and you'll enter the import wizard. Once in the wizard, upload a file or manually add your data like in the screenshot below.

All contacts require first name, last name, email address, and sending method (either sms, email, or both). In addition, if you're looking to send via sms, you'll need to enter phone number and we suggest country to increase the chance that the carrier delivers the message. Certain mobile carriers are very specific in their requirements for country codes, so enter your country code like the GIF below and we'll pre-append your phone number with the correct country code.

If you are sending video stories internationally and want to add translated captions, add a caption language to your contacts to automatically add translations for the correct contact.

Lastly, if you're looking to add contacts to existing campaign instead of building a new one, copy/paste your campaign id and add it to the spreadsheet when importing. You can add multiple ids as well if you'd like to load contacts to multiple campaigns at once. In the spreadsheet linked below, add the Campaign ID against each contact you would like to be added to the campaign in Column K.

Here is a link to a sample spreadsheet that contains the required headers for a successful contact import.
