What is an automatic resend?
With email open rates on a continual decline, an automatic resend of your video message is a key tactic to running a successful campaign in Goodkind. This setting helps increase audience engagement by re-prompting your least engaged contacts to open your video message across email, SMS, and WhatsApp.
How does it work?
Once you have enabled this setting, Goodkind will only resend your video message to contacts who opened the email, SMS or WhatsApp, but didn't visit the story page In other words, automatic resends will be sent to all contacts that did not click the 'play' or 'watch' button and did not click on the video URL.
Automatic resends are applied across your entire workspace and is applied across every single campaign. Goodkind does not currently support automatic resends for individual campaigns.
This setting must be enabled prior to a campaign's initial launch for the automatic resend logic to be applied to that video message.
If your automatic resend was turned off before your initial launch, all contacts a part of that campaign will not get a secondary video message.
If your automatic resend was turned on before your initial launch, all contacts that did not engage with your video message will receive a follow-up message after a set number of days.
Web admins must choose the number of days after the initial video message was sent for the automatic resend to occur.
