What is "Verify email" and how does it work?

I am being asked to verify email after adding a team member. What does verification involve? Can I do it later?

When you add a team member to Goodkind, you will see the option to verify their email. This is needed so that stories can be sent on behalf of their email address when an admin assigns someone as a storyteller.

Tip: It also gives the organization the flexibility to send emails from their default address in Goodkind instead of sending the story from the email address of a storyteller.

What happens when I click verify?

The storyteller will receive an email asking them to verify their email. Once they click that then they are verified. The admin needs to click on the verify button again to change the status to verified.

If your domain is already verified within Goodkind, then no email is triggered. Once verify is clicked then the email is verified automatically.

Can I do it later?

Yes, you can verify a storyteller anytime you'd like.
