Congratulations on launching your campaign!
Now it is time to see how your campaign performed. You can see both aggregate level performance and the watch stats for each contact in one place.
Start by clicking on "View report" on the Campaigns page to view the campaign stats.
You will see three parts on the report page:
Campaign Overview
This section shows campaign setup information and a quick glance at performance.
Your campaign's main metric will be displayed prominently in the campaign overview section. This metric varies depending on the type of call to action you select for your campaign. You'll then see the following stats:
Visit rate: Once your contact receives the message, they open their email or sms and click the button to visit the Goodkind video page. All contacts that visit the visit page are counted as 'visits'. Visit rate is determined by dividing unique visits (max 1 per contact) by the number of contacts that were sent a video in your audience.
Play rate: All contacts who click on the play button on the video page are counted as plays. Play rate is determined by dividing unique plays (max 1 per contact) by the number of contacts that visited your video page.
Engagement rate: Once a contact clicks play (or the video is autoplayed), Goodkind's video page starts to calculate the engagement the contact has with your video. Engagement measures how far into the video(s) your contacts watch. An engagement rate of 50% means that your contacts are on average watching 50% of the videos you send them.
Event Funnels
This section shows you a breakdown of the cumulative events for your campaign from delivery to clicks.
You can toggle between email and SMS to understand your performance with each channel. Email messages will include open tracking, SMS will not. Hover on top of each step to view more information about each step.
Audience Interactions
This section shows how specific contacts are engaging with your Goodkind videos.
The audience interaction table shows you statuses of videos you have sent or scheduled, it will not show assignments if your campaign is a One to One campaign. To further understand the statuses, hover on top of each one for a description.
The next column is Engagement Rate per contact and is limited to the campaign you are viewing so it does not include previous campaigns that the contact was in. The next column is Event Activity which shows a snapshot of a contact's activity on the video page.
The last column allows you to see the generated video pages for each contact. Don't worry about impacting campaign results by visiting the URLs, they are tagged to not emit any event data back to Goodkind.
A few tips:
Keep an eye on sent to visit rate: If this ratio is low, that means your email template could be improved or your audience is not primed to receive a Goodkind video message.
Ratio of clicks to visits: This can tell you the effectiveness of your message. If this ratio is low, assess the content of the video. Get in touch with us and we can share best practices with you and your team.
View each storyteller's performance to understand who's videos are performing better than others. You can do this by hover on the profile image of the storytellers on the campaign page.
Export your data (see image below) as a CSV to dive deeper into your campaign metrics and use an internal ID passed into Goodkind as a custom attribute to track ROI internally.
