Video is a great way to showcase your personality and connect with prospective students who are interested in your school. But how do you make a good impression and stand out from the crowd? Here are some things to keep in mind:

  1. Be mindful of wind, as it can make your voice sound muffled or distorted.

  2. Record in less busy, more vacant locations. Background noise from highways, heating and air conditioners, lawn mowers, or muffled chatter from people in the surrounding area can interfere with your audio quality and make it hard for your viewers to hear you.

  3. Try to find a quiet place indoors or if you have to record outdoors, make sure you are not facing the wind and that there are no loud sounds nearby.

By checking your surroundings before recording a video, this helps ensure that your video is more professional, effective and more enjoyable for your viewers.
