Integrating Ellucian Recruit

Goodkind supports an integration with the Cloud based version of Ellucian Recruit, which is powered by Microsoft Dynamics CRM. This guide is applicable only for the Cloud version of Recruit. If you are using a hosted ('on premise') version, this guide is not applicable. Please check with your IT team if you are uncertain.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. To connect Recruit to Goodkind, you'll need to copy your Instance Web API url which can be found in Settings > Customizations > Developer Resources.

  2. Once copied, proceed to Settings in Goodkind > contact importing, then add your Web API url and click Connect.

  3. Login with your credentials (note permissions to connect to third party apps is required for this account).

  4. At this point, Goodkind will show list view names of Person entities.

  5. Select a list view to bring in Person records into Goodkind and sync a list. Lists are mapped to Goodkind 1-way.

Exporting data back into Recruit

Goodkind activity can be written back to the Activity record of the contact.

Testing the connection

We recommend that CRM administrators connect a sandbox environment of Recruit prior to connecting to production to confirm permissions and workflows. We recommend that your CRM administrator scheduled a call with your Goodkind customer success manager to walk through and confirm the setup.
