Microsoft Dynamics access is managed via Azure portal for enterprise customers. This article is meant for IT admins who manage Dynamics and (preferably) have access to the Azure portal.
Goodkind uses OAuth 2.0 to authenticate and connect the two applications. As IT admins, you grant our Azure multi-tenant ready application access to the Dataverse APIs and ability to read a user profile. The permissions being granted to our app show during the SSO flow.
Details of Goodkind Application:

The steps below ensure the connection between Dynamics and your Goodkind workspace goes as expected.
Create a Service Account
We recommend creating a service account for the purpose of connecting Goodkind and Dynamics. This account should have access to the same entities and segments that the recruiting/business team has.
Permissions for Integration User
During connection, the integration user temporarily needs to login as a Cloud Application Administrator. This permission is granted to the service user in your Active Directory.
The permission can be revoked, once the connection is complete.
Get your Organization ID and Dynamics Instance URL
In order to make the connection via the Goodkind desktop app, the service user authenticates your Organization ID and Dynamics instance URL to make the connection.
Once you have this information, go to your Goodkind workspace and in Settings go to Contact Importing and Click on Dynamics icon.
