Overview

In order to launch a Goodkind campaign, each contact requires an email field for your message to be delivered. However, we understand that sometimes you might not have a contact's email address handy, or you have contacts that opt-ed to provide you with their phone number only.

So, to send videos via SMS only, you will still need to add an email address. We require this because Goodkind uses email address to identify contacts in your list. Therefore whether you send a video message via email or SMS or both, emails are always required.

So how can you add "dummy emails" to your list?

Here's how:

A dummy email is a temporary and disposable email address. They allow you to create unique email addresses which you can "send" messages to without hurting your sending reputation. These address act as sinks meant to be a placeholder for email addresses. Goodkind uses Sendgrid's sink for this purpose.
