Overview
Looking to launch a campaign at a specific date and time? This article will teach you how to do so, and explain the difference between a scheduled and non-scheduled campaign.
From Draft to Active
In the summary page of your campaign builder, you'll be faced with two options:
Launch
Schedule a launch
Once you launch (scheduled or not), your campaign will move from a ‘draft’ state to an ‘active’ state in your campaign activity. Once it’s active, your recorder will receive their recording task via the mobile app. After your recorder submits the video, their video will become visible in your approval queue.
🔍The key difference between a regular launch and a scheduled launch comes after the ‘approve video’ stage.
Launch vs. Scheduled Launch
Launch: for non-scheduled campaigns, the second you ‘approve’ your recorder's video, it will get sent to all of the contacts in your audience list within the hours that you’ve set your sending window to. If the approval occurs beyond your sending window, it’ll be launched the next day within that sending window time frame (you can refer to and adjust your sending window in your workspace by selecting Settings > Sending).
Scheduled Launch: the second you ‘approve’ your recorder's video, it will get attached to the associated campaign. This feature further safeguards that your video message will only get delivered to your contacts at the exact time and date that you’ve determined in the ’schedule’ section in the summary page of your campaign builder.
We highly recommend utilizing a scheduled launch as either a planning-tool or for an event-based campaign.
