Which email should I use to sign up — personal or business?
We recommend signing up with your personal email. Goodword is designed to be with you throughout your entire career, not tied to any single job or company.
Is Goodword available on Android?
Goodword is currently available on iOS and desktop. An Android app is coming soon.
Is Goodword available outside the US?
Goodword is currently available in the US. We're working on expanding to more regions and will share updates as they become available.
How does Goodword's LinkedIn integration work?
We take privacy and security very seriously, and have been intentional about how we built this integration from day one. We use a trusted infrastructure partner to handle the connection, and rate-limit our API usage to stay well within safe thresholds. To date, we are not aware of any user accounts being affected.
What if I'd prefer not to connect LinkedIn directly?
LinkedIn isn't the only way in. We're building out additional import options — including CSV uploads from other sources and the ability to upload your own LinkedIn data export — so you'll have flexible paths to get your network into Goodword.
I don't have a LinkedIn account. Can I still use Goodword?
At the moment, LinkedIn is the primary way to import your network into Goodword. We're actively working on additional integrations to give you more flexibility in how you connect. Stay tuned for updates.
Why aren't my LinkedIn connections showing up in Goodword?
After syncing your LinkedIn, it usually takes a few minutes to import, depending on the number of connections you have. If you aren't seeing all of your contacts after 30 minutes, please reach out to support@goodword.com and we will investigate.
Where can I see all my connections after I import them?
Once imported, you can see all of your connections within the Search tab. You can search your connections smartly (e.g. "Tech founders in SF", not just by name).
How does Goodword handle my calendar data?
Your calendar data is used exclusively to power features within your own account, like relationship summaries and smart follow-up suggestions. Goodword evaluates each event for relevance before storing anything. Events that pass this threshold are saved with the title, description, date/time, and attendee information. Full meeting transcripts are never stored unless explicitly shared via a separate integration.
How do I see what integrations I have synced to Goodword?
From the Home screen, click on your Profile avatar. You will see a list of all available integrations, and which you have synced.
How do I disconnect or reconnect integrations?
You can manage integrations by clicking on the Profile avatar from the Home screen, then navigating to “Integrations.” You can connect or disconnect at any time.
I connected my calendar, but I don't see any meetings in Goodword.
It can take a few minutes for your first sync to complete. If you have any meetings with a specific connection, you will see this noted in their profile.
Can I connect multiple calendars?
We're working on it! Stay tuned for multiple account connections coming soon.
The AI isn't completing my requests. What should I do?
Some AI features are still actively being developed and improved. If the AI isn't completing a task, try refreshing and resubmitting your request. If the issue persists, reach out to support@goodword.com and we'll help troubleshoot.
How do I delete my Goodword account?
To request full deletion of your Goodword account and personal data, email us at support@goodword.com. We will permanently remove all of your data from our systems.
To cancel your subscription, visit https://app.goodword.com/settings/subscription or go to Settings in the Goodword mobile app.
