A shift is a block of time - minimum 4 hours - where a courier is dedicated to your deliveries. You can send multiple deliveries during that time, and they’ll handle them all efficiently.

When does a shift make sense?

  • Peak times or busy days

  • Regular delivery routes

  • When you don’t want to book jobs one by one

Step-by-Step: Booking a Shift

1. Select "Book a Shift"

You’ll find the option in the main menu.

2. Set your collection post code

Enter the pickup postcode.
You don’t need to add all the delivery addresses to the system - you can share them directly with the driver on the day.
If there’s anything useful the courier should know (e.g. access codes, contact name), pop that in the pickup instructions.

3. Choose your time and vehicle

Pick the day, time and vehicle type that suits you best.
Just make sure the shift allows enough time for all deliveries to be completed - including the courier’s return to the pickup point within the booked hours.

If your card is already saved - just click confirm and you're all set

FAQ

  1. How many deliveries can a driver do per hour?

Roughly 8–12 per hour depending on distance - a bit less for longer routes, a bit more if they’re tight and local.

  2. If I change my mind would I be charged cancellation fee?
Yes - if a courier hasn’t yet been allocated to your shift, there’s no cancellation fee.
After that point, fees depend on the status of the shift and how close it is to starting.
As a general rule: cancelling more than 60 minutes before the shift starts comes with a 10% fee.

  3. What's the latest I can book this?

We’ll always try to help, but we recommend:

    • 12 hours’ notice for shifts in London

    • 24 hours’ notice outside London

  4. What's maximum distance?

Shift bookings are designed for routes up to 15 miles total.
