Material Usage

Activating this Add-on allows for tracking of chemicals and materials used for each job.

You'll have access to completely customizing 7 master lists for tracking and recording purposes on each job.

  4. Methods of Treatment

  5. Units

  6. Area

  7. Dilution - you can turn the toggle ON/OFF to show or hide dilution field and column on work order and invoice material report

  8. Custom Material - This is an additional column in the Material Usage master list. Enable this column, edit the name and add items to it.

When materials are recorded for a job, they will show as a separate table on your invoice work orders to meet state requirements.

Setting up your customizable master lists:

After customizing your master lists, you can now start adding them in your job.

Add Materials in your Service Templates

  1. Go to Settings > Service Templates.

  2. Click '+ Add Service'.

  3. On the template screen, click '+ Add Materials' on the left side.

  4. Then click '+ Add Material' again to add a material entry.

Add Materials to your Job

You can add material while creating a new job or to an existing job.

  1. Create a new job or open an existing one.

  2. On the right side of the job details, click the Materials tab.

  3. In the Materials section, click '+ Add Material'.

Add Material to your Device

  1. Open a job.

  2. On the right side of the job details, click '+ Add Devices'.

  3. Click '+ Device'.

  4. Scroll to the bottom to find the Material section, then click '+ Add Material'.

Adding material entry to a job or device:

Material Use Reports

All material added to the job are all listed in the Reports > Material Use.

In the Reports, you'll see a summary that, by default, displays all materials used within the selected date range.

If you want to see the detailed list of the materials, click the filter next to the date picker, scroll to the bottom to see the 'All Detailed' option.

You can also see the report separately for materials that are added to a job to materials that are added within the device.

  1. In the Reports section, click the Jobs tab to view all materials added directly to jobs.

  2. To see materials added through devices, click the Devices tab.

Pro and Growth plan have the ability to set up material presets.

Material Preset power-up to simplify material selection by predefining values such as quantities, application methods, target pests, and equipment for each material or chemical you use.

For example:
If you're working with Pyrethrin-based Aerosol Insecticide, you can preset the applicable options:

  • Application Methods:

    • Aerosol Spray

    • ULV Fogging

    • Space Spray

  • Target Pests:

    • Mosquitoes

    • Flies

    • Moths

Instead of choosing from a list of 40+ application methods and 30+ target pests, you'll now see just the 3 that apply—making selection faster and more accurate.
