It's critical to know how this feature works. When batch moving a single day of jobs all jobs will be moved to the new Start Date.

When batch moving multiple days worth of jobs, not all jobs will move to the Start Date... the Batch Move function keeps the time frame between jobs when moved across multiple days.

Example: if you move Mon - Fri jobs of this week and the new Start Date is the following Monday, then these jobs will fall Mon - Fri keeping the time frame between jobs and days.
