Bounces are Undeliverable Emails

They are generally separated into two categories: hard bounces and soft bounces. GorillaDesk utilizes a specific set of heuristics to determine whether a bounce should be classified as hard or soft. Typically, permanent errors such as non-existent mailboxes will get classified as hard bounces, while other temporary issues are treated as soft bounces. GorillaDesk handles bounces and reports them automatically in your account.

After a bounce occurs for a recipient email address, GorillaDesk stops attempting delivery of the email. Further emails to that address will be rejected temporarily.

Permanent errors such as invalid mailboxes will get classified as bounces. Bounces to an address may be a sign that the address is unusable.
