You can send invoices, estimates, and other important documents by traditional mail directly from GorillaDesk, no printing or trips to the post office required.

Everything is professionally printed, stamped, and delivered to your client's address starting at $2 for the first page.

Note: This feature is only supported for US based customers at this time.

Getting Started with Snail Mail

To use the SnailMail feature, you must first choose and activate a subscription plan that fits your company’s needs.

  1. Navigate to the Add-ons section, locate the SnailMail feature, and click either its name or the toggle.

  2. Click on the 'Activate a Plan' button.

  3. Under "Recharge credit balance to:", your starting balance is set to $50 by default. You can increase this amount by dragging the slider to your desired starting balance.

  4. Next, set your stamp balance limit under When your balance goes below:, this is the point when the system will automatically recharge your balance.

  5. Once you are set, click the 'Activate' button. You will be prompted to add your credit card details or use your card on file.

⚠️ Please be aware that Snailmail packages are NOT refundable and

each additional page incurs a charge of $0.20.

Once the feature is activated, you'll have the option to send invoices, estimates, work orders, and other documents via postal mail. This option is also available when using Batch Actions

Sent out paper works using the 'Send by Postal Mail' option are all recorded under Reports > System Email History.

We recommend enabling the QR code function for invoices to make it easier for customers to access and pay online. You can enable it by heading to Add-ons > Square or Addons > Stripe.

Collect Payments Online by adding QR Code on your Invoice PDFs

Start including QR codes on your unpaid invoice PDFs, enabling you to collect payments when you send an invoice by mail or leave a printed copy with the customer.

This power-up can be enabled within the Square and Stripe add-ons.

QR codes will appear on invoices with the statuses SENT, PARTIAL, or FAIL.

This is a sample invoice PDF with a QR code. This link will direct your customer to your GorillaDesk payment merchant.

Limitation: The QR code link address cannot be customized to other payment platforms.

Q: What is the estimated delivery time for Snail Mail sent from GorillaDesk?

Answer: Snail Mail typically takes 10–15 business days for delivery after it is sent from GorillaDesk.

Q. Can users track the status of Snail Mail delivery?


Answer: Currently, you can track mail status in the System Email History. GorillaDesk supports three email statuses:

  • Failed – The email could not be delivered to the customer.

  • Sent – The email was successfully sent from GorillaDesk.

  • Opened – The customer received and opened the email.
