With GorillaDesk's Opportunities feature, you can proficiently oversee interactions that hold the potential for revenue generation from customers.

You can manage your Opportunity status and pipelines under Opportunity Pipeline in Addons and use them when creating your opportunity.

To add opportunity status:

  1. Start by enabling the Opportunity Pipeline from the Addons tab.

  2. After enabling it, you will see the Opportunity Pipelines & Statuses settings; click on the Manage button.

  3. You can now enter a status name, select the status, and click the Add button.

  4. You can edit or delete your opportunity status by clicking on the pen (edit) and trash (delete) icons. You can modify the status name, but the status itself cannot be changed.

Now that you have created statuses for your opportunity, you can use them when creating your opportunity.

You can locate the Opportunities in the sidebar when you access any of your customer's profiles.

To create opportunities:

  1. Click the '+' icon within the Opportunities field to open a 'New Opportunity' window. Within the 'New Opportunity' window, you will find fields where you can input relevant information about the opportunity.

  2. Select the status for your opportunity from the Status dropdown menu. Additionally, you can manage your list of opportunity status and pipeline by clicking on 'Manage Pipelines'.

  3. Select the date for your opportunity's estimated close.

  4. Specify the confidence percentage of your opportunity by adjusting the sliding bar within the range. Note: The 'Confidence' slider is disabled when the opportunity status is set to WON or LOST.

  5. Enter the opportunity value and specify the revenue frequency (One-time, Monthly or Annual) for this opportunity.

  6. Assign a contact to your opportunity, or you may choose to leave this field unassigned.

  7. Assign a user to your opportunity.

  8. Enter any relevant and useful information for your opportunity in the notes field.

  9. Save your opportunity.

Now that you have successfully created your opportunities, you can access them by clicking on the 'Opportunities' dropdown.

  • If you'd like to modify your opportunities, simply click the edit icon. This will grant you access to the 'Edit Opportunity' window.

  • You can also delete the opportunity by clicking on the 'Delete' button found in the 'Edit Opportunity' window.

If you have assigned a contact to your opportunity, these three (3) icons will become active, allowing you to:

  • Email your customer.

  • Send an SMS to your customer.

  • Call your customer through VoIP.

You can use the opportunity as an additional filter for Smartviews.

Pipeline Permission

Here, you can manage which specific users have access to opportunities, and opportunity pipeline reports, including the sales funnel report, and the opportunity change status report.

Click the "Manage" button.

On this page, you can see the list of all users and their roles within your company. Grant each user the permissions to:

Add/Edit Opportunity

  • Anyone with this permission can add opportunities in both the app and desktop.

  • Anyone with this permission can edit or delete all opportunities, including those assigned to other users.

Access Pipeline Report

  • Anyone with this permission can access the opportunity pipeline report in the Inbox.

Access Sales Funnel

  • Anyone with this permission can access the Sales Funnel report in Inbox

Access Status Change

  • Anyone with this permission can access the Status Change report in the Inbox.

Opportunity Generator

Opportunity Generator is a setting found in the Opportunity Pipeline addon.

When enabled, any estimate that transitions to pending status will automatically generate an opportunity item.

Opportunity Pipeline Report

The Opportunity Pipeline reports provide a comprehensive overview of your complete sales pipeline, enabling you to monitor opportunities at every stage.

Note: This feature is only available for V3 desktop, accessible only for Superadmin with Growth Plan.

To locate your Opportunity Pipeline Report,

  1. Select "Inbox" either from the dropdown menu or by clicking the Inbox icon located in the header

  2. Navigate to the left sidebar and click on the "Opportunity Pipeline" tab.

Upon reaching this point, you may wish to apply filters to customize the data displayed on your screen. You can achieve this by:

  • Clicking on the date picker and setting the date range based on when your opportunity was created

  • Filtering by user assigned on an opportunity

Opportunity items in the report are draggable and editable.

You can click on the opportunity item to expand it, providing access to additional options and the opportunity notes.

Hover over the avatar to see who created it and to whom it was assigned.

Hover over to the date to see the opportunity estimated close and when it is created.
