Time Clocking

Time clocking enables you to generate a time log either by utilizing a timer or manually inputting the start and end times.

Timer Mode

You can initiate the timer by clicking on the Start button on the Time Clocking page. Alternatively, if you are currently on a different page, click the Clock In button located in the header.

Note: The timer will continue running even if you leave the page or close your browser. If you attempt to log out while the timer is active, a confirmation box will appear.

To clock out or stop the timer, you can click on the Stop button on the Time Clocking page or click on the running timer on the header. The time tracked will automatically save.

Manual Mode

Click on Manual to switch the time tracking mode.

  1. Select the date for your time log using the date picker.

  2. Specify the start time and end time. The time duration will adjust automatically based on your input's start and end time.

  3. You can also directly specify the time duration of your time log.

  4. Click the Add button to save your time log.

The list of the user's tracked time is displayed below. It is limited to time tracked within the current week and from the past week.

Time Tracked History

The time-tracked history list displays the date of the time entry, the user's clock-in and clock-out time, the total duration, and the corresponding amount.

You can identify a row with a red background, indicating overlapping time within the entries.

To view all the time entries for a specific day, click on the expand button next to the date.

Users with the Edit Time permission can edit or delete a time entry by clicking on the 3 dots.

Time Clocking Report

Time logs for all users are documented in the Reports > Time Tracking.

In the Time Clocking report, users' time entries are displayed, showing the hourly rate, date of the time entry, clock-in and clock-out times, duration, and the corresponding amount.

If you click on the total hours in the Time Duration section, a window will appear, providing an overview of the tracked hours.

IMPORTANT: The total time in RED indicates overlapping tracked hours. Admins with permission are advised to edit the time in the summary window.

The tracked hours overview includes the following options:

  • Click on the user avatar to view a summary of other users' time logs.

  • Adjust the summary timeline to view by Day, Week, or Month.

  • Specify the date for the timeline you wish to view by using the date picker.
