Custom Fields

This feature allows you to create your personalized data field to capture and organize specific information.

Note: This feature is only accessible on the V3 desktop and is available to Growth Plan users.

To enable this feature:

  1. Navigate to Addons > and click the Custom Fields

  2. On the Custom Fields settings, click the Manage button.

  3. Create your new custom field by clicking on the " + New Field " button found on the upper-right side of the page.

  4. In the 'Add Field' box, enter your custom field name and select the input type for that field.

    You can choose from the available input types such as:

    1. Text

    2. Number

    3. Choices

    4. Choices (Multiple)

    5. Date

    6. Date & Time

Once you are done, hit the 'Save' button.

The option to create new custom fields is also accessible when adding a new customer or modifying an existing one.

Let us proceed to the Permissions settings. Within these settings, you have the ability to control who has the authority to add or modify entries in the master list.

  1. In Permissions settings, click on the 'Manage' button.

  2. On this page, you'll find the list of all users. Toggle each column to grant or restrict user permissions for adding or editing a custom field.

Now it's time to start utilizing the custom fields you've just created.

  1. Create a new customer or go to a customer account > navigate to the Account tab

  2. In the Custom Fields sections, click the '+ Add Custom Field' button for new customers or the " + " button in a customer account

    Please note that only users with permission to add or edit customers will have the ability to assign a custom field to a customer profile.

  3. Choose from the list of available custom fields, input the required data, and then click 'Save'

  4. If you decide you want to create a new data field, you can do so directly on the customer's account page.

    • Click the '+' button in the Custom Field section

    • Select '+ Add New Custom Field', then input the field name, choose the input type, and click 'Save'

  5. You can edit the selected fields by clicking the pencil icon. The fields will then become accessible for editing.

    You can hover over a field you want to edit, a pencil icon will appear, click on it to begin editing
