Send a job confirmation or reminder to the customer as soon as the job is created, and to the technician when a new job is created or assigned to them.

Notify Customer

When you create a new job, a 'Notify Customer' option is available so you can send a confirmation or reminder to the customer.

1. Create a new job in calendar or within the customer profile.

2. Specify the service type first so that the 'Notify Customer' option becomes active.

3. Tick on the checkbox and choose a confirmation or reminder template.

4. The template option on the dropdown depends on the status of the job.

  • If the job status is UNCONFIRMED, you will have the option to select which job confirmation template will be sent to the customer.

  • If the job status is CONFIRMED, you can choose from the available job reminder templates to be sent to the customer.

5. After you save the job, a pop-up will appear to confirm your action, once you confirmed, the system will automatically send an email or SMS or BOTH to the customer depending on the customer's messaging preference.

  • This option is also available when editing a job.

  • This option is available to jobs with UNCONFIRMED or CONFIRMED status only.

Notify Technician

1. Go to Calendar and create a new job.

2. Specify the service type first so that the 'Notify Technician' option will activate.

3. Before saving the job, make sure to tick the "Notify Technician" checkbox so that all assigned technician get notified.

4. Then click "Save" after. The system will notify the technician of the new job that is assigned to them.

You can also notify the technician when you move the job to TODAY or edit the job date to TODAY.

1. In Calendar, drag any job from any date and move it to TODAY. A confirmation modal will pop-up and you can click on the "Send assigned users a notification" so that the technician will notify about the job.

Alternatively, you can notify a technician of the job assigned to them without having to edit the job scheduling.

  1. Open the job

  2. Click the 3 dots

  3. Select 'Notify Technician'

  4. Click 'Send'

Please note:

  • This option is available when creating a new job at any date.

  • This option is available when moving or editing a job to the current date.

  • This option is available when reassigning a job to another technician, but only for the job assigned today.

  • This option is not available to batch move jobs, batch reassign job and when using route optimizer.
