Module:
Filtering is included in all goTom modules.
Role:
To access the filtering per area, the user needs a corresponding role.
Where to find:
The filtering can be found under various navigations.
Functionality:
The filtering option allows users to configure individual searches for each page. A saved search includes defined filter criteria and, if applicable, defined filter values.
The filtering can be expanded or collapsed. When re-entering the mask, the settings last used for this purpose are automatically restored on each page.
It is possible to change values within the configured filter criteria, add new filter criteria or remove them.
For each individual search, there is the option to save it as a new search, to save the search or to reset the search.
If changes have been made to the search, the search can be saved, and will overwrite the existing search.
By resetting the search, the filtering is loaded into the state in which it was last saved.
Default Search
goTom offers a default search for all users for each area. The most frequently used filter criteria and filter values are displayed. The name of these searches refer to the criteria filtered in the search. This makes it clear at first glance what exactly is being searched for. Default searches cannot be adjusted or deleted by the user.
Each user has the option to define a saved search per page as his or her default search. This search will be displayed by default when the mask is opened.
Edit Criteria
Under "Edit criteria", additional filters are displayed, which can be activated or deactivated.
Date
With the date filter, you can search for relative dates as well as fixed dates. If a relative value is selected, the current date is displayed in the date field. If a fixed date value is selected, the value "Custom" and the fixed date value are displayed in the relative field.
Campaign-No.
When searching for the campaign-no., all other filters are ignored.
Saves Searches
A saved search contains a name, defined filter criteria and optionally values. It can be specified whether the search wants to be shared with other users or set as the user's default search.
When you select the "Saved Search" button, all saved and shared searches are displayed. A saved search can be shared, edited or deleted by an admin user or by the creator for all users.
Adjustment Settings
Searches can be edited or deleted via "More Actions" in the search. Deleting a search is only possible by an admin user or the creator of the corresponding search. If it is a split search, it cannot be deleted.
