The Roadmap bundle builder supports two main bundle types: Fixed Bundles and Variant Bundles. Each serves a different purpose depending on the level of customer choice you want to offer.

Fixed Bundles

Fixed Bundles consist of a pre-selected group of products that are always sold together. This setup is ideal when you're guiding the customer journey or recommending specific product pairings.

Example:
Bundle a shampoo and conditioner in the same scent as a set. Customers purchase the bundle exactly as you've configured it. No swapping or customising.

Best for:

  • Complementary product sets

  • Controlled product combinations

  • Streamlined shopping experiences

Variant Bundles

Variant Bundles give customers the freedom to mix and match items within the bundle. You define the bundle structure, but shoppers choose their preferred variants. Such as size, colour, or scent for each product.

Example:
Offer a mix'n'match t-shirt bundle where customers can select their preferred size and colour for each t-shirt, and receive 20% off.

Best for:

  • Customisable shopping experiences

  • Products with multiple variants

  • Letting customers tailor bundles to their preferences
