Service Plans are reusable templates that define key details for recurring service agreements, including billing schedules and discounts.
This guide will show you how to create and configure Service Plans to streamline the setup of Service Agreements.
Accessing Service Plans
From the main menu, navigate to Settings (the small letter in the black circle at the top right of your screen).
Note: If your company has Service Plans enabled, you’ll see a Service Plans option; otherwise, you can navigate via Products & Services > Service Plans.
Creating a Service Plan
Use the instructions below to create a Service Plan.
From the Service plans page, click + Create new service plan.
The Service Plan form appears.
Complete the fields on the form (fields marked with an * are required).
Name: Enter a name for the Service Plan (e.g., “Silver,” “Gold,” or something appropriate for your org.).
Description: Add a high-level summary of what it covers.
Discount Target: Indicate if the discount applies to products and/or services by checking the corresponding box(es).
Discount: Enter your discount in percentage (%).
Billing Frequency: Select how often you’ll bill (Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, or Annual).
Total Price: Enter the total price for the year.
Agreement Length: Enter the number of active years for the agreement.
Click + Create to save the plan or click Cancel to exit the Create Service Plan form (your progress will not be saved).
Editing a Service Plan
Use the instructions below to edit a service plan.
From the Service Plans page, locate the plan you would like to edit by either scrolling through the list of plans or using the search field.
Click Edit.
Make your edits to the Edit Service Plan form.
Note: If the plan is already in use, a message will display letting you know that “This plan is currently linked to one or more service agreements. Any changes you make now will only apply to future agreements and will not update the ones already created.”
Click Save to save the plan or click Cancel to exit the Edit Service Plan form (your progress will not be saved).
Viewing Audit History for a Service Plan
Curious about past edits? Use the instructions below to view the audit history for a service plan.
From the Service Plans page, locate the plan you would like to view a change log of by either scrolling through the list of plans or using the search field.
Click the Audit History icon.
The Audit History pop-up appears, showing a change log with timestamps, user attribution, and the completed change.
Click OK (bottom right of pop-up) or X (top right of pop-up) to exit.
Deleting a Service Plan
Use the instructions below to delete or archive a service plan.
From the Service Plans page, locate the plan you would like to delete or archive by either scrolling through the list of plans or using the search field.
Click the Delete icon to delete.
Note: If a plan isn’t tied to any active agreements, you can click Delete to remove it completely. If it is still in use, the system will prompt you to archive it instead.
If the plan is not linked to any active agreements, the plan will be deleted.
Click the Archive icon to archive the plan if the plan is linked to active agreements.
