ServiceBridge Sessions Limited to 2: Frequently Asked Questions
Question | Answer |
What's changing? | ServiceBridge now limits each user account to two active mobile sessions at the same time. This helps keep your account secure by controlling how many mobile devices can be signed in under a single login. Web sessions are not affected in this phase. |
When does this take effect? | The two-session limit begins rolling out with the ServiceBridge mobile app on September 15, 2026. |
How many devices can I be signed in on at once? | You can have two active mobile sessions at the same time under your user account. |
Which device combinations are allowed? | The limit applies to mobile sessions. You can be signed in on two mobile devices at once — for example, a phone and a tablet. Web sessions are not limited in this phase and do not count toward the two-session limit. |
I work in the field with a tablet and a phone. Will this affect me? | No. The session limit supports being signed in on two mobile devices at the same time, so you can continue using a tablet and a phone together in the field without interruption. |
What happens if I sign in on a third mobile device? | When you sign in on a third mobile device, your oldest active mobile session is automatically signed out so that only two remain active. Your two most recent mobile sessions stay signed in. |
Will I be warned before a session is signed out? | No. There is currently no in-app message when an older session is signed out. |
Does the web app count as one of my two sessions? | No. Web sessions are not included in the limit for this phase. The two-session limit applies only to mobile sessions. |
Why is this change being made? | Limiting active mobile sessions strengthens account security. It reduces the number of places your credentials are active, makes unusual sign-in activity easier to detect, and lets us quickly cut off access if a login is ever compromised. |
Do I need to do anything to prepare? | For iOS, if you sign in with a username and password, update to the latest version of the ServiceBridge app so the mobile session limit is enforced correctly. No app update is required for Android, or for iOS when using PIN or AutoLogin sign-in. |
I keep getting signed out unexpectedly. What should I do? | Being signed out usually means your account is active on more than two mobile devices. Sign out of any mobile device you're not actively using, then sign back in on the one you want to keep. If you continue to have trouble, contact ServiceBridge Support. |
