Community Contributions: Contributor Page
Updated over 2 months ago

Showcase the contributions of your community and feature your top contributing members on a designated page. The contributor page appears as a main menu item and allows visitors and members to see contributors, ranked by their contributions and organized by their badges or contributions.

You can feature certain contributors, and now add custom badges and contributions to your community to celebrate your members.

Users can browse by badge or contribution from the top navigation of this page, message, or bookmark profiles of those they want to connect with later.

Build Your Contributor Page

Enable the Feature

To enable the contributor page, you will navigate to your dashboard, to the 'Contributors' tab, and to 'Contribution Settings'. You will turn on the 'Contribution Module Visibility,' and toggle on the 'Display Contributor Page':

You must have the contributor module visibility on to showcase your contributor page.

Customize Contributor Boards

The contributor boards show all your contributors in order of contributions, and by badge. The system will automatically list contributors by most contributions to least. You can customize which contributor boards appear and adjust their display order from the Contributor Boards tab in the dashboard.

Feature Contributors

You can feature up to 20 contributors at the top of your contributor page. Add these members from the dashboard in the 'Featured Contributors' tab.

Badges

Several badges are available with this feature and you now have the ability to build custom badges that apply to your members and their community contributions. Learn more about badges here and how to add custom options.

If you’d like to start recognizing your contributors, reach out to the Gradual team to enable this feature.

Points & Rewards

A new upgrade to the contribution feature module is granting your members points for their contributions and rewarding them with items in a rewards center.

Learn more about this element of the feature here.

The points and rewards element is part of an additional module to the contributions feature, so if this would be a solution for your community, reach out to the Gradual team to chat.
