Grand Coastal Hotel is a strictly smoke-free property. A USD 500 deep-cleaning fee applies if smoking is detected in a guest room.

Smoking policy

Smoking policy at Grand Coastal Hotel:

  • Grand Coastal Hotel is a strictly smoke-free establishment. Smoking is prohibited anywhere within the hotel compound, including but not limited to guest rooms, balconies, corridors, stairwells, and all public areas.

  • Smoke odor, excessive odors, or airborne contamination requiring specialized cleaning or ozone treatment constitute property damage.

  • If a guest room or any hotel area shows evidence of smoking, including smoke odor, ashes, cigarette butts, burn marks, or tampered smoke detectors, a mandatory USD 500 deep-cleaning and restoration fee will be charged to the card on file.

  • Additional charges may apply for odor remediation, replacement of linens or furnishings, repairs, and any loss of room revenue caused by the room being removed from service.

  • Where a room must be removed from service due to smoking-related damage or odor remediation, the guest is responsible for any associated loss of room revenue in addition to cleaning and restoration costs.

  • Charges may be applied during or after the stay once the condition is identified and documented.
