Value Added Tax (VAT)
Value Added Tax (VAT)
Updated over 10 months ago

All goods and services in Guyana are subject to a 14% VAT. This tax, mandated by the government, is not exempted unless a corporation possesses an exemption letter issued by the Government of Guyana.

All accommodations and meals are sub-totaled, and then VAT is added. Just so you know, this VAT is non-negotiable and cannot be removed or discounted.
