What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted cards and cash, and how that differs from holding a room.

Grand Coastal Hotel accepts major credit cards and USD or GYD cash. Accepting cash does not mean a room can be held with no guarantee until check-in.

Accepted payment methods

Accepted payment methods at Grand Coastal Hotel:

  • Visa

  • MasterCard

  • American Express

  • USD or GYD cash

  • Personal cheques and digital currencies are not accepted.

Holding a room vs paying the bill

Payment methods describe how you may settle charges. To confirm and hold a reservation, we still need a guarantee before arrival — credit card authorization or a cash deposit. We cannot hold a room with nothing paid and nothing authorized against a no-show.

  • Card authorization (card on file / guarantee) — preferred for most bookings.

  • Cash deposit received before arrival, arranged with the Front Desk.

  • Cash or card may still be used at check-in to settle the stay after the room is already guaranteed.
