Key Enhancements:
Better Email Reporting: Select and email multiple reports at a time to streamline your workflows.
Simplified Scoring: Scoring simplified for ease of use, explanation, and reporting.
Key Scoring & Methodology Updates
The primary goal of the update is to simplify the evaluation methodology while maintaining comprehensive, ultimately to support understanding and enhance reporting.
Linear Scoring System: Replaces the legacy "Step Function" (chunk-based scores) with a fully linear rubric, resulting in more precise and evenly distributed program rankings.
Single Weight Rubric: Each criterion (e.g., enrollment growth) is now assigned a single weight, which is multiplied by the criterion percentile to yield a clear score.
Removal of "Degree Fit" Scoring Section: This section has been removed, as employment statistics are Award-Level specific. All Degree Fit metrics remain available for review, but are no longer scored.
On-Ground vs. Online Rubrics
The update utilizes two distinct rubrics tailored to program delivery methods:
Rubric | Focus |
On-ground | In-market completions, average/median program sizes, and YoY size changes. |
Online | In-market student completions and national online percentages for institutions and completions. |
Both rubrics maintain identical weights for all employment metrics.
Tracking Program Performance from Legacy to New
Longitudinal Analysis: Despite the scoring shift, users can still track program market performance over time as both systems use the same basic aggregation methods.
