Sometimes an image is worth a 1000 words, and this is especially true when making a report on an app throwing an error, or seeking help on how to do something within the app.

An image (or in this case a screenshot!📲) of the issue goes a long way when trying to understand diagnose the issue you're having and how to best fix it!🛠

That said, taking a screenshot on an Android device couldn’t be any simpler.

However, please note the method varies slightly depending on the brand and model of the phone...

If your phone has a home button, usually at the center and bottom area of the phone, here are the steps:

  1. Locate the home button.

  2. Locate the power button (usually on one of the sides of the phone...)

  3. Now press and hold both buttons at the same time until you see a short animation on the screen and hear a sound like a camera taking a picture.

Finally, simply locate the screenshot in your photo gallery on the phone, and share it with us from there like you would any other picture.

That’s it!

If your phone doesn’t have a home button, instead owe'll use the volume down button 🔽:

  1. Locate volume down button, usually located on one of the side of the phone.

  2. Locate the power button, usually located on the opposite side of the phone from the volume buttons.

  3. Now press and hold both buttons at the same time until you see a short animation on the screen and hear a sound like a camera taking a picture 📸🔊

Finally, simply locate the screenshot in your photo gallery on the phone, and share it with us from there like you would any other picture.

That’s it!

In case anything isn't clear, here’s a short video you can view to see it in action:
