As we all know, when production is being monitored at the Well level often times you have a centralized point into which all these gas wells flow...

That said, GreaseBook has also implemented the ability to 'Roll Up' the gas volume from each well to a Battery total.

To take advantage of this feature, simply select Settings (left side navigation bar) > Select Batteries (top navigation bar) > select which specific Battery to which you'd like to add the 'Roll Up' feature.

Now, select the pencil beside the Battery header; and, beneath Gas Collection Type select 'Well':

Use Cumulative Mode: when 'Use Cumulative Mode' is selected, the meter finds the daily difference between sequential gas meter measurements (ex: daily sequential entries of 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 signifies 100 MCF of production each day for the gas meter...)

When 'Use Cumulative Mode' is NOT Selected: whatever gas meter total is entered is simply applied to the daily total (ex: daily sequential entries of 100, 100, 100, 100 signifies 100 MCF of production each day for the gas meter....)

Use Check Meter: When 'Gas Selection Type' is selected at the Well level AND 'Use Check Meter' is selected, this enables us to roll up production volumes from the Well level and compare this total with that of the Sales Meter.

In summation, your Gas totals entered by your pumpers at the Well level will now sum themselves to a Check Meter total.

And, it's from this total that you can compare against your Master Sales Meter (ie custody transfer point of sale)! 🀝

Finally, when 'Gas Selection Type' is selected at the Battery level AND 'Use Check Meter' is selected, this simply serves to add a Check Meter at the Battery level with which to compare against our Sales Meter.
