Congratulations on rolling out GreaseBook in your operations!

To help you create your most profitable and capital efficient operation, we've created this short introduction to make sure you're fully leveraging the GreaseBook in your business.

Time is money, so without further adieu, let's dive in!

Upon logging into the GreaseBook Website, you'll be immediately presented with your Executive Dashboard.

Not only will this dashboard serve as Mission Control for your operations, it'll also give you 100% transparency and invoke full accountability of every variable in your oil and gas operations.

At the top of the page, you're presented with the 'Production Overview' graph. This graph not only shows you real-time status of the Oil, Gas, and Water production levels in your operations, but also gives you an excellent indication of how your business is performing over time.

Along the left side of the screen, you'll find our Left-Hand Navigation Bar:

The Left-Hand Navigation Bar consists of several components:

  • Alerts

  • Facilities

  • Overview

  • Reports

  • Settings

  • Locations

  • Pumper Mesh

The GreaseBook was designed with simplicity in mind (and each of these components is fairly self-explanatory...) That said, please find a description of each component outlined below:

Alerts: through the Alerts section you'll view the notifications you've setup. When a new comment, ticket or any other alert you've setup is created, you can view them all right here like an inbox!

Facilities: through Facilities, you'll be presented with your company's entire list of Facilities (aka Batteries, Collection Points or Leases...) It's from here that you can select any Facility drill in, and see its current real-time status.

Overview: through Overview you'll simply be taken to the Overview (ie Home) screen. Not only will you be presented with real-time status of the Oil, Gas, and Water production levels in your operations, but you can also 'group' and organize specific batteries into 'Battery Groups' which will enable you to graph and visualize smaller subsets of Batteries (more on this in a minute!)

Reports: through Reports you'll not only be presented with On Demand reports, but also Integrations, Scheduled Reports, and State & Government reports, too.

Settings: through Settings you're given full control of all Assets and Users in your operations. It's through this section you'll not only add/delete/modify Facilities, Wells, Tanks and the like but also assign permissions to Pumpers, Staff, and other Stakeholders within your organization.

Locations: From this tab you can setup your well GPS Locations based on our partnership with WellsDatabase.

Pumper Mesh: Looking for contract pumpers in your area who know how to use GreaseBook? Our Pumper Mesh is a collective database of Pumpers and their contact information so you don't have to look any further to find what you need.

Is that pretty straightforward, or what?! πŸ˜…

Now, let's drill into each of these Components to show you how they work by clicking the button below... πŸ‘‡
