Want to take a look at where all your Batteries and Wellheads are located and overall performance of these assets? Now you can with our improved mapping features! 🗺📊

To view a simple map of the locations of your Batteries and Wellheads, from the Battery Overview page, click Show Map at the top of the Overview graph.

The view will change to a map view of all the stored locations of your properties. From here you can zoom in and out on the map and toggle back to the Overview graph.

If you would like to view Performance features and get a high level of your Operations you can click the Well Performance Map button above the Overview graph.

From the Well Performance Dashboard you can view and download monthly production numbers, step into the Battery without having to change pages, and even take a look at performance metrics.

Want to setup Locations for your Batteries or Wellheads now that you know these extra features are available to you?

To create locations that you can view on the maps, click the Locations📍 button on the left navigation panel in Greasebook.

To add the asset location to the map:

  1. Enter your company's official name(s) in the search box in the middle of the screen and pick your company / companies from the results available – the list of wells belonging to the selected company / companies will display beneath it.

  2. Select a well from those listed on the left hand side of the screen (these are your assets already in the Greasebook...)

  3. Next, simply match it with one of the options that appears in the middle list (this not only brings in GPS location but also API numbers and other public data – all courtesy of WellDatabase.com!)

  4. Finally, once you locate your well click 'Confirm' on the right of the screen and move onto the next property!

If none of the available options listed are correct (for example, the well was recently operated by a different company), you can perform a more detailed search by clicking Click to do a Full Search on the right side of the screen.

From here you can perform a detailed search using the well name, API number or any other identifier. You can also filter the search criteria by either operator or State/County.

Once the new search window opens:

  1. Enter a well name, API number or other well identifier.

  2. Select a well from those listed.

  3. Finally, once you locate your well click 'Confirm' on the right of the screen and move onto the next!

Once you have matched your wells to their proper locations, you can view the Locations using Show Map and at the Well Performance Dashboard.

These tools are to help you access quick information points so you can work faster and maximize your Greasebook usage!
